The America we know is committing suicide. We have handed our
government over to people who have no scruples about using the power
of that government to keep themselves in control of it. They
care nothing about the restraints that the U.S.
Constitution places on the government they now control. They
care nothing about the future of this nation ... except that
they should be in control of it when that future gets here.
Barack Obama took power as America struggled to
emerge from a recession that the
Democrats created (Republicans helped) with their social engineering and loose
banking policies. His plan to lead the nation out of that
recession? Spend every dime we have and borrow like there is
no tomorrow. Obama has seized control of struggling banks,
financial institutions and major U.S. corporations, declaring that
he has no interest in controlling them even as he fires a CEO or two
and establishes a "compensation czar" to oversee corporate salaries.
Along with the Democrat controlled Congress, he is poised to seize
control of the entire healthcare industry in America and impose
draconian taxes on all working Americans to help pay for it.
Oh, and that's not all! The House of
Representatives just passed a "landmark" bill to address
Climate Crisis
by shifting domestic energy production to the most expensive and
least efficient methods we know and imposing energy taxes on
virtually every producer of goods and services in the country.
Oh, and we're still not going to drill and pump our own oil
here. So while our economy is struggling for its life,
our President and Congress want to hamstring our productive capacity
and drive even more jobs overseas. That's sure to boost
America's GDP, huh?
I try to stay away from conspiracy theories.
I don't have a hard time believing that there is a close-knit cabal
of rich, powerful men who seek world domination ... it's just that I
can't believe they could keep it secret for more than fifteen
minutes. But it's hard, really hard not to believe that Barack
Obama is some kind of Manchurian Candidate (1962
not 2004) imbedded here and empowered by outside forces to bring
America to its knees. Everything he has done since elected
seems designed to destroy this nation's economy and our freedom.
Is it too late now?
With the Democrats in power with a filibuster-proof majority (and
who thinks the Republicans have enough guts to actually fight this?)
it seems that nothing can stop him. Can we rely on
SCOTUS
to halt his unconstitutional power-grabbing schemes? (Ha.
Don't make me laugh.) Every year a new crop of
mindless
myrmidons emerge from our government schools with no understanding
of history or this nation's heritage, ready to vote for whoever will
promise them the most. If that isn't enough, the Democrats
and many Republicans keep the borders open so that
hordes of new illegal aliens can flock in to take a role in keeping
the left in control. (Yes, Obama's "comprehensive immigration
reform" is just around the corner.) Obama and the Democrats
are solidly in control of the treasury, and they will not hesitate
to offer another slice of it to the American people or anyone else
who can keep them in power.
Remember the method I used to get out of
financial trouble? The big difference is this: if I
spend myself into penury, when I die my children cannot be made to
pay my debts. Our nation will be paying for our greed,
laziness and foolishness for centuries to come.
We are selling our children into slavery,
and getting paid with our own money.
