Cultural Terrorism

Living Uneasily in the Era of
Cultural Terrorism
June 2009
Not long ago I watched Bill O'Reilly talk to a couple of women about the public excoriation of Miss California USA, Carrie Prejean.  Why, Bill asked, wasn't the National Organization of Women stepping up to defend Ms. Prejean's freedom of speech?  Why didn't the homosexuals speak out against the disgusting attacks on her right to her own opinion, even if they disagreed with it?  Why wasn't the ACLU rushing forward to defend her civil rights?  Of course Bill knows the answer:  none of them care about her civil rights, her freedom of speech or anything else about her or anyone else that stands in the way of their agenda.  Now she has  been stripped of  her title, and still the "civil libertarians" are silent.  I doubt that they are finished with her.

Let me digress for a moment.  I was badly irritated by Sean Hannity (not at all unusual, I assure you) as he repeatedly called those pirates off the coast of Somalia terrorists.  They are NOT terrorist.  Someone who uses force to steal or extort on the high seas is called a pirate!  A terrorist is one who uses acts of violence, property damage or disruption targeted against the civilian population to achieve a political goal.  Terror modifies behavior in such a way as to meet the terrorists' designs.

Now its obvious that anyone who speaks out against any part of the homosexual agenda will be attacked savagely, ruthlessly and unceasingly until they crawl, shattered and crushed, into welcome obscurity ... if the attackers can manage it.  He withstood everything they could throw at him for months and months and survived, but now even the mighty Rush Limbaugh does not go out of his way to rile the homosexuals.  I'd be pretty nervous myself, but hounding me into obscurity would be like driving Howard Hughes insane.

I'm old enough to remember Anita Bryant.  Thirty years ago she was warning that homosexuals would not be satisfied until their lifestyle was taught to America's children as an acceptable alternative to heterosexuality.  I don't think many believed her.  In those days who could imagine that in just three decades we would be well on our way to redefining the word "marriage" as no other culture in the history of humanity has done?  America owes her an apology.

The feminists and the homosexual community did not step forward to condemn those who heaped vituperation on Carrie Prejean for the same reason that the Taliban did not condemn the 9/11 hijackers.  The NOW gang and the homosexual community share the agenda and the goals of these cultural terrorists and with their tacit approval they support the methods used to achieve them.

Why don't freedom-loving Americans speak out against this terrorism?  Why don't the millions of Americans (the majority) who do not want their children taught the homosexual lifestyle, who do not want marriage redefined, who do not want to see innocent people eviscerated for speaking the truth, why don't they take a stand with the Anita Bryants and the Carrie Prejeans of our society?  Trump says he canned her for "business reasons."  I'll just bet he did.  He was afraid his business would be targeted and hurt because he would not help the cultural terrorists gut their victim.

Terrorism works.  That's why terrorists use it.
