Will Barack Obama be the first African
unAmerican President?

| Believe it or not, it is hard for me to
write about this. Usually, everything is grist for my mill,
but some subjects are so important, so threatening, so overwhelming
that they seem to call for reams of observation, volumes of
carefully documented facts, a tidal wave of argument ... or nothing.
A bullhorn, or silence. Like seeing a house in flames; scream
FIRE!
or just go on about your business and let it burn. And, as
anyone who reads my stuff knows, I am always somewhere in the
middle. I haven't got time for the deep research and
intricate, thoughtful development of ideas, but at the same time, I just can't keep my
mouth shut.
Why I won't be voting
for Barak Obama. |
His politics
Barack Obama is the most liberal person who has ever come
this close to the White House. The most liberal member of the
U.S. Senate, according to the National Journal's rankings.
More liberal than Ted Kennedy. More liberal than Hillary
Clinton. More liberal, even, than Vermont's socialist Bernie
Sanders. Obama is so far to the left that the term "liberal"
does not do him justice. He wants to nationalize health care,
vastly expand the power of government, and raise taxes on "the rich"
in order to (as he said to Joe the Plumber, in a moment of
uncharacteristic candor that he no doubt regrets) "spread the wealth
around." From each according to his ability, to each according
to his need? |
|
 |
| Barak Obama
"kicked off his political career" at the home of 60's radical and
unrepentant terrorist bomber Bill Ayers, seen here posing standing
on the American flag. That was a long time ago, says Obama,
but Obama was
about 40 when Ayers said, "we didn't do enough." |
|
The "others"
who support him
You may have already seen this picture of an Obama campaign
office in Houston, Texas. On the wall hangs the flag of the
worker's paradise, Cuba, with the image of "community organizer" Che
Guevara superimposed on it. Of course, after this became
public the campaign denied any knowledge and had the flag removed,
but think about it ... the people who idolize a communist murderer
are the same people working tirelessly to see Barak Obama elected to
the highest office in our land. |

See what Sam Webb, National Chair of the
Communist Party USA has to say about Obama's candidacy:
It is hard to believe that we met only four months ago. So much has
happened since then, so much has changed. All of us thought this
year would be exciting, and possibly a transitional moment to a new
stage of struggle. But did anyone anticipate such a dramatic turn
of events? Did anyone foresee the sudden burst of political
activism? Did anyone expect that the normal and tedious routines of
political life would give way to a people’s surge across the length
and breadth of the country? Did anyone anticipate such a titanic
struggle for the Democratic Party presidential nomination? I
didn’t, but I suspect that I have plenty of company. In taking
matters into their own hands the American people have confounded
political pundits of all persuasions, reconfigured the political
terrain and atmosphere, and set in motion a process that could well
prefigure a triumphant victory at the polls in November. Such a
victory against right-wing extremism would realign the political
balance of forces and set the stage to move in a new direction.
Comrade Webb is obviously very excited. You can read the
complete text
HERE
if you want to, but I warn you. He is even more verbose than
I am! Think about that: the top commie at the CP-USA is
thrilled at Obama's success and believes that his victory will
"realign the political balance of forces and set the stage to move
in a new direction." What direction do you suppose that is?
And of course, I have to mention, too, how much
Obama is loved around the world. Just a few days ago Colin
Powell stepped up and joined a prestigious group of those who, like
Muammar Gadafi, have endorsed Obama's candidacy. If socialists,
communists and terrorists in Europe,
Asia and Africa could vote in our elections, Obama would have it
sewed up. They adore him! Think about that.

| And what about the "Mainstream Media?" The MSM did all they could for Gore and continue
to this day to refer to President Bush as "Mr. Bush," despite the
fact that no one was ever able to produce any recount that could
have put their boy into office. They worked tirelessly for
Kerry, studiously ignoring his history and his gaffes, grudgingly
reporting the swift-boat stories while carefully avoiding any
attempt to investigate and acknowledge their truthfulness. But
they tried, they really tried to maintain the illusion of
objectivity. They didn't really fool anyone, but at least they tried.
The most alarming and
unique thing about the Obama phenomenon and his meteoric rise is the way
that the MSM has pulled out all the stops
and abandoned even the pretense of objectivity, throwing
their entire weight behind Barack Obama in an unabashed and very open bid to
make him the next American president. I was continually
dumbfounded to see polls showing that 55% or so supported Obama and
76% agreed that the MSM were
actively trying to get him elected. So at least a quarter
of those polled supported Obama even though they recognized that the main-stream American
media were desperately campaigning for him. Don't they wonder
why? Don't they care? I guess not, but I sure do.
I think it is that they know the next president
will ineradicably shape the Supreme Court for decades to come, and
they do not forget (though most Americans do) that the left has
never had much success enacting their agenda through legislation --
it has been imposed on America, incrementally, by judicial fiat
from on high. Now is their chance, and they can't afford to
miss it.

His radical
associations
I've already talked about some of those who support him.
What about those he has associated himself with in the past?
Like Williams Ayers, seen above standing on the American flag.
Go here for
a look at some of the posters, signs and pictures Ayers has arrayed
about his office at the University of Illinois. Ayers was a
member of the terrorist
Weather Underground, which declared war on the U.S. Government
in 1970. Obama's political career was launched at a "meet the
candidate" dinner held in the home of William Ayers. Obama and
Ayers live in the same neighborhood, and have sat together on
several boards. Obama endorsed a book Ayers wrote on the
juvenile justice system, and has funneled millions to Ayers and his
radical education reform projects. Read more
here.
What about the Reverend Jeremiah Wright?
Obama sat in his church for twenty years and described Wright as his
"spiritual advisor." When Wright's radical, racist views
became widely known (despite the MSM's best efforts to keep them
hidden) Obama at first refused to denounce his pastor, but later
did, claiming that he "didn't know" about these things because he
had skipped church those days. Twenty years?
Obama sat in this church for twenty years and didn't know that his
pastor was a racist who ascribed to the "Black Liberation Theology"
and preached hatred for white America.

His dishonesty
Barack Obama is dishonest. He has to be. He
knows that America would probably reject him if they knew of his
radical socialist plans for this country. He ran hard to the
left to win the democrat nomination, but now that he has it, he is
desperately trying to sound "moderate." But every once in a
while his real opinions sneak through, as with his "spread the
wealth around" comment to Joe the Plumber. He has taken in
millions of dollars from
mysterious small contributors with names like "Doodad Pro" and
"Good Will." Some of these contributions have already been
traced to overseas sources such as Palestine and Nigeria. Of
course, when they are discovered Obama's campaign returns the money,
but it will be years before the full extent of foreign participation
in this election is known, if it ever is, and what good will it do
for President Obama to return the money then?
Never mind his
dealings with Tony Rezko. Barack Obama was the
number 2 recipient of campaign cash from Fannie Mae and Freddie
Mac, and he had only been in the Senate for four years!
The current economic crisis has democrat fingerprints all over it,
but somehow Obama and the democrats have managed to shift the blame
to republicans, who, in fact, warned of the problems with Fannie and
Freddie in 2005 and tried to do something about it.
The democrats resisted. Frank Raines took home millions
in bonuses as head of Fannie Mae. Now he is an
"advisor" to Barack Obama on mortgage and housing policy! |

| And it isn't because he's
black. I'm just waiting for someone to call me a racist
because I won't vote for Barack Obama, and I'm sure someone will.
It's the unwritten rule of political discourse in America today:
you're not allowed to say anything critical of anyone who is
black ... unless, of course, they are a conservative black
person. Then they are fair game. Sort of like the fact
that Sarah Palin, because she is conservative, is therefore not
considered a woman by the NOW gang and other feminists. I
would gladly cast my vote for a conservative black president.
I wish to God that the Republican ticket was Keyes/Palin or Watts/Palin
or even Rice/Palin, but it's not. I'm not crazy about McCain;
voting for him is like a prostate exam ... unpleasant, but
necessary. An Obama presidency will be like a chainsaw
colonoscopy. |
| |
But as long as we're talking about racism ...
What about the millions of black Americans who will flock to the
polls to vote for Barack Obama for no other reason than the color of
this skin? Most of them do not know about his politics.
Most do not even know his positions on abortion or homosexual
marriage, which (polls tell us) black communities overwhelmingly
oppose. They just think that it is about time we had an
"African-American" president. Barack Hussein Obama
is a socialist who wants to change America, morph the
American dream of independence and personal freedom into an
entitlement state. Terms like "un-American" are hard to
define, but I say that if Barack Obama is elected
this November, what we are all going to get is the first African un-American
President.
Am I scared?
We stood by while the leftist took over our colleges and
universities. We stood by while they took over the MSM.
We stood by while they took over the entire education system in this
country. We stood by while they gained control over a larger
and larger share of our ever-expanding government. We
stood by while they removed God from their schools, made abortion
legal and ubiquitous, and zealously promoted the homosexual
lifestyle. We stood by while people like William Ayers and
Jeremiah Wright attacked, slandered and plundered our nation.
Yes, I'm afraid of an Obama presidency.
I'm afraid that we are about to get the government
that we deserve.
