Voter Suppression

You know, the thing that Democrats constantly accuse Republicans of doing. It’s true, though. Republicans would like to suppress the votes of illegal aliens and other non-citizens, non-existent or dead people, and the multiple ballots of the above.

But it’s axiomatic that if you want to know what Democrats are doing or planning to do, take a look at what they are accusing the Republicans of doing, and this is no exception. As we approach the midterms, Democrats are expending a tremendous effort to suppress the votes of the Republicans and independents who aren’t fond of socialist, communists, Islamists, and others who hate America. How so?

Phony Opinion Polls
You’ve seen the polls. A massive “blue wave” is coming. Democrats are favored to win big and take control of Congress. The polls are convincing…just like the polls that showed Hilary a sure winner in 2016.

If you’re on social media then you’ve seen the posts: “I voted for Trump FOUR TIMES, but I’m voting for Democrats this time!” Usually it includes a photo of some fat guy wearing a red MAGA hat, and often it includes something like, “and everybody I know hates Trump too!”

But a Democrat voter suppression method that is often overlooked is the Standard Operating Procedure that Democrats have relied on for fifty years: cheating. The Democrats learned something in 2020. Cheat like hell and don’t worry that anyone is watching. Don’t worry about the evidence that will eventually come out. Don’t worry, because the corporate media will cover for you, the left-wing judiciary will cover for you, and just as the winner writes the history of a war, the winner investigates the fraud in the election. It’s been six years since “the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics” slid Joe Biden into the White House like a killer MMR vaccine being injected into an unsuspecting future congestive heart failure patient. There’s too much evidence to keep hidden now, not just evidence of cheating, but evidence of a sustained effort to prevent that evidence from ever seeing the light of day until it is too late to matter. Yes, some voters may see it and know that they were cheated, but voters are easily distracted and they have notoriously short memories.

Of course cheating works to suppress the Republican vote. Why bother to go to the polls when you know that Democrats are going to create as many fraudulent votes as they need to win? And anyone who complains can be charged with “sowing doubt about the security of our elections!” Just as it was in 2024, we need a win “too big to rig.”

So those who hope to save America from the coming predicted wave of Democrat socialist/communist destruction had better be prepared to resist all three of these tactics, and vote like you and your children’s freedom depends on it.

Because it does.

Regime Change

December 8, 1941
“President Roosevelt addressed a joint session of Congress today to request an official declaration of war against Japan and the Axis powers. At the end of his speech, he announced:

“Let there be no mistake. We enter this war fully determined to reach absolute victory over those who have attacked us. However, no one should mistake our goal to achieve peace as an attempt to effect regime change upon the nations of Germany, Italy and Japan. We have no intention of attempting to remove Mr. Hitler, Mr. Mussolini, or Emperor Hirohito of Japan from their positions as heads of state.”

Absurd, isn’t it? I am just wondering when “regime change” became such a dirty phrase. We began our conflict with Iran with everyone from the president down to the White House janitor emphatically denying any intention of removing the fanatical mullahs and leaders of the IRGC from leadership in that terrorist nation.

But that makes absolutely no sense, because everyone in America knows that Iran will NEVER stop trying to sow terror, destruction and discord around the world until those leaders are removed and preferably dead. Even the Democrats know this is true, and they would give their left testicle (the ones who have one, male and female) to see America suffer a humiliating defeat just so that Donald Trump would also suffer a humiliating defeat.

Wars do not end until one of these things happen:
1) the loser’s leadership realizes that defeat is inevitable, and are unwilling to pay the cost of continuing the conflict (see 2 and 3 below).
2) the loser is beaten so badly they no longer have the ability to wage war or even resist;
3) the loser ceases to exist.
[Some people may imagine that a fourth option exists: a negotiated peace that ceases hostilities without producing a winner or a loser. These wars are not “ended.” They are only put on hold until such time as one of the belligerents is ready to resume hostilities. True, sometimes other events may intervene, such as one of the belligerents ceasing to exist because of outside events, but the principle still stands.]

Everyone in the world knows that this conflict with Iran is no different, and that with the current leadership, option 1 is simply out of the question. The philosophy and religious eschatology of both the Iranian religious elite and the IRGC commits them to carry on the conflict throughout all three options.

We have (apparently) destroyed their ability to develop a nuclear weapon (for now) and that is a good thing, but they are not going to stop trying to build one, and they are not going to stop inflicting terror and pain on their neighbors and everyone else in the world, no matter what. If we want this conflict to ever come to an end and peace (or as close to it as we can ever get in that region) to return to the Middle East, that leaves Option 3.

I don’t mean that Iran ceases to exist, but the current leadership must. We should have entered this with the intention of removing the fanatics that conquered Iran in 1979 and restoring a government that does not devoutly desire to bring about an apocalyptic end of the world with the arrival of the 12th Imam. It should be an easily understood concept that you cannot negotiate in good faith with someone who seeks the end of the world. There is simply nothing to negotiate.

Generally, Donald Trump says exactly what he means, a characteristic that we usually love and sometimes deplore. In this case, we can only hope that he understands what he is not saying: that regime change is our only hope of victory in Iran, and the sooner it happens, the better.

Interesting Photos

Here are some photos that I told someone of Facebook I would post somewhere. This is the quickest way I could find to do it. It is really puzzling how hard it is to find some of these. In some cases, I found them and then went back later to try to get more information for the captions, and couldn’t find them anymore. It is also interesting how often you find references or copies of the original photos, but the originals cannot be found. Of course some will say this proves that they are fakes and have been taken down, but it could also mean that they have been taken down for other reasons. I certainly am not one to believe everything that I see or read on the Internet, but I have seen some of these (and other) pictures elsewhere before and find it strange that they are so difficult to locate now.

How to Get the Pickle Stench out of Firehouse Subs Buckets

		

			 		

	


		

		I you didn’t know, Firehouse Subs sells their empty pickle buckets for (as of today) $3 with a lid. Compared to Home Depot or Lowe’s buckets, that’s a very attractive price, and if you’re going to use them for carrying concrete or shoveling ashes, they are ideal. However, if you wanted buckets for food storage or other similar purposes, the smell of those pickles is absolutely overpowering and will permeate a steel can of SPAM within a week. I carried a couple of buckets home in the trunk of my car, and they didn’t turn over or anything, but the odor of those pickles was still present in my car a week after I had gotten home and taken them out. 

Since then, I searched the Internet for ways to remove that pickle smell. I won’t go into all of the suggestions I saw, because you can Duck-Duck-Go them just as easily as I did. I will, however, tell you that none of them worked. Letting new coffee grounds sit in the buckets for a few days seemed to be the most recommended, but it didn’t work for me. I have a bucket sitting on my deck now with about a pound of Community Coffee inside that has been waiting there for a month, and while the smell of coffee is present, it is still overpowered by the stench of those pickles. 

I also tried washing out a bucket with acetone. Acetone, I figured, will remove just about anything from anything else, but it didn’t work. I washed out the interior with denatured alcohol and let it sit for two days. Denatured alcohol has a pretty strong smell of its own, but it was struggling against the pickle smell and losing. For good measure, I sloshed the alcohol around the interior and then lit it on fire. After the alcohol burned away…yep, still pickle stench.

Finally I found a sure-fire method that works! Put the bucket in a wide open space clear of grass, dried leaves or other debris and at least 15 or 20 feet away from any structure. Pour a pint or so of gasoline into the bucket. Stand well back and toss a lit match or burning paper into the bucket. Allow the gasoline to burn until it is consumed and the bucket is a blackened puddle of melted red plastic with a metal handle stuck in it. Allow it to cool completely. (You can spray some water on it to speed up this process, or to stop the process mid-way if something important nearby becomes involved in the procedure. DO NOT spray any water until all of the gasoline has been consumed. If it is necessary to halt the fire before all of the gasoline is gone, use a Class B fire extinguisher.)

When you are done with all of this, the cooled slab of plastic will still smell like pickles. Place it in a suitable trash container and dispose of properly.

BlendJet SCAM

		

			 		

	


		

		

One of the nice things about having your own website is that you can have the pleasure of griping about something to everyone in the world. Of course, it’s not likely that anyone will actually read your comments, but still, it does hold a certain satisfaction.










We had a BlendJet, and it was recalled in December 2023 due to safety concerns. We followed the recall procedure. That was a year ago. Here’s what BlendJet said to us in April 2024:





We are reaching out because our records show you have submitted a request for a replacement base and lid for the BlendJet 2, which was part of our recall announced on December 28, 2023. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we’re currently experiencing delays processing and shipping these replacement parts.  





The overwhelming response to this recall, coupled with unforeseen supply chain issues, has led to a shortage of replacement kits. While these kits are currently being shipped, it’s important to understand that we won’t be able to ship all of them immediately and some customers may not receive their replacements until June 2024. The first recall orders that were received are the first in line to receive replacement bases. Rest assured that we are doing everything we can to expedite this process. 





Of course, June 2024 has come and gone, and we are coming to the realization that this company has absolutely no intention of ever actually replacing these recalled units. The “unforeseen circumstance” is probably their inability to fulfill their obligations under this recall and still maintain a positive cash-flow.

The 4th Amendment and General Warrants

		

			 		

	


		

		

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Property to be seized:
All physical documents and records constituting evidence, contraband, fruits of crime, or other items illegally possessed in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 793,2071, or 1519, including the following:
    >  a. Any physical documents with classification markings, along with any containers/boxes (including any other contents) in which such documents are located, as well as any other containers/boxes that are collectively stored or found together with the aforementioned documents and containers/boxes;
    > b. Information, including communications in any form, regarding the retrieval, storage, or transmission of national defense information or classified material;
    > c. Any government and/or Presidential Records created between January 20.2017, and January 20, 2021; or
    > d. Any evidence of the knowing alteration, destruction, or concealment of any government and/or Presidential Records, or of any documents with classification markings

The 4th Amendment was largely a reaction to the British government’s practice of issuing “General Warrants” which allowed the authorities to search a subject’s premises for any evidence of anything that they wanted to seize or could use to prosecute the subject. British soldiers would show up at your door, present the warrant (or not, if they didn’t want to) and then turn your house upside down, looking any any “evidence” that could be used against you.

Read that carefully and look at the commas. The warrant was for “evidence, contraband, fruits of crime, or other items…” 





Did the Justice Department issue a “General Warrant” to go through Trump’s home looking for anything they could use against him?  You tell me. They did it to Donald Trump, a billionaire, a former President and political opponent of the current administration. They can certainly do it to you. The difference is, no one will be hearing about it on Fox News or anywhere else when they come to your door.

[NOTE: With everything that’s going on, I’m sure some wonder why they haven’t heard anything out of me for a while. It’s a special kind of writer’s block. When I sit down to write something, instead I start to write everything. I’m trying (again) to overcome it with this post.]





The January 6 Commission is supposedly investigating an “insurrection” that was staged (they really hope to prove–one way or the other) by Donald Trump to prevent the “orderly transfer of power” after the stolen 2020 election. The fact is, there is an insurrection in progress in this country, but that ain’t it.





“That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”
–The United States Declaration of Independence





Has our government now become “destructive” to the ends of securing our rights? I’m not going to try to make that case now (see introductory NOTE above) but I do want to point out that there is nothing wrong with our form of government. The United States was born as a constitutional republic, ruled by law (the Constitution) and not by the whims of men: not a king, not an autocracy nor even the ever-changing wishes of the majority (the mob). 





The problem is that we are no longer governed by our constituted form of government. We are now governed (ruled) by an autocracy made up of individuals that, although they each swear an oath to “uphold and defend” the United States Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic, do not intend to be restrained by the words that are the foundation of our properly constituted government. They themselves are, in fact, the most dire enemy that our Constitution has ever faced.





What has happened is indeed an insurrection. It took place over decades and happened so slowly that few noticed it, but we are no longer a constitutional republic, a nation governed by law and not by men. Donald Trump and those who support him are not the insurrectionists. The insurrectionists are those who are using the vast powers of an out-of-control government to harass, persecute and destroy him (and when it seems expedient to them) anyone around him. Why? Because he and those who support him seek to return to our nation’s foundation as a republic and overthrow their corrupt unconstitutional autocracy that has enriched and empowered them.

Did Trump “Win” in 2020

		

			 		

	


		

		

I did not watch the All-News-Channel (except for FNN) Show Trial on the January 6 riots. I don’t feel bad because Joe Biden didn’t watch this staged, partisan snooze-fest either. We were both too busy. I was too busy watching Tucker on Fox. Joe was probably too busy getting ready for bed.





But I did want to address one “factoid” that is being repeated from the event. They questioned over a 1000 witnesses and none of them said that Trump won in 2020! Wow. Two years later and you’re taking all this crafted, produced propaganda time to try to make that point? 





Along with the fact that you can hardly find a reference anywhere to Trump’s claim that the 2020 election was rigged without a pejorative like “false” attached, that strikes me as more convincing evidence that they are definitely on the defensive about this election theft.





But did he “win”? No, he didn’t, and the fact that Joe Biden is stumbling around in the White House, killing our fossil fuel industries, promoting the economies of our foreign enemies and generally doing everything he can to destroy our country proves it.





Say my team, the Barnesville Hoot Owls, goes to the NFL football championship game (rhymes with blooper pole) and gets totally, obviously robbed. For instance:





  • The other team is allowed to send out 14 or 15 players on key plays and the officials do not call a penalty for too many men on the field. 
  • The other team routinely jumps offside, crashes the line and knocks down the quarterback and the officials do not call a penalty.
  • One of the other team tackles our receiver in the end zone before the ball is even thrown, they make an interception, and the officials do not call pass interference.
  • And say that when the opposing team scores a touchdown they are awarded 10 points instead of 6, and when their extra point kick goes wide the officials call it good and give them 3 more points.





We scream, we cuss, we throw things at the TV, and the next day we demand that something be done. But our “false claims” that the game was stolen go ignored. The trophy is handed over, the “winning” team gets their rings and go down in Blooper Pole fame as the world champions. 





Did my team win? No, they lost. Was the game stolen? Hell yes it was stolen. What needs to be done? The people who care about fair and honest football should see that everyone who participated in the theft is fired and banned from football. And then our team comes back next year and participates in a fairly-played game.





That is, of course, unless the cheaters don’t get fired and they succeed in rigging the entire season to make sure that the Hoot Owls never get close to the field on Blooper Pole day.

Weapons of War

		

			 		

	


		

		

As noted in a previous post, this time it is different and it looks as if Democrats and other enemies of freedom will finally accomplish another infringement on the “shall not be infringed” right of the people to keep and bear arms. One measure that Joe Biden, the Democrats and even some back stabbing Republicans seem to favor is putting some kind of restrictions (or outright bans) on so-called “weapons of war” such as the ubiquitous AR-15 rifle platform. But I have a serious warning for every trap or target shooter, plinker, sportsman, hunter or self-defense gun owner.





Don’t think that because you don’t own or use an AR-15, AK-47 or other “weapon of war” this infringement does not affect you. If the government succeeds in banning “weapons of war” (by that or any other name) then private ownership of all firearms in America will be doomed.





Wild-eyed hyperbole? No it is not. In U.S. v. Miller (1939) the United States Supreme Court ruled that the Second Amendment did protect the right of American citizens to be armed, but upheld the National Firearms Act of 1934 on the grounds that the weapons banned (in this case, a short-barreled shotgun) were not shown to be suitable for use by “the militia.” 





Of course that is ridiculous, since short-barreled shotguns have always been used by military forces ever since there were shotguns, but no evidence was presented to the court that such was the case. The NRA did not involve itself, and not even the defendant (Miller) was present to argue on behalf of the Second Amendment. And so the first significant “infringement” on the right to keep and bear arms was allowed to remain law. 





What does that have to do with your .22 target pistol or over-under shotgun? By the clear ruling of the Supreme Court in this case (which has not been overturned or repudiated) the Second Amendment does not protect the right of Americans to own any firearm other than those “suitable” for use by the militia, that is “weapons of war.” If weapons of war are banned all other firearms will follow.





This is a good time to remember that all of our fundamental rights were bestowed upon us by God, not granted by government. They cannot be withdrawn by the political process. They cannot be rescinded by executive order, act of Congress or decree of the Supreme Court. They cannot even be taken by a majority vote of our deluded fellow citizens. Our fundamental rights, including the right to be armed for the defense of all the others, can only be stripped from us by force, if we allow it.





And that is why God gave us the right to keep and bear arms and why our Founding Fathers so valued it. That is why “weapons of war” are exactly the kind of firearms that the Second Amendment is talking about.

“This time it is different!”

		

			 		

	


		

		

I expect that everyone who reads this blog (both of you) were probably surprised that I haven’t posted anything in the wake of the last two mass shootings and the attendant cries for more gun control. I am now, because this time it truly is different.





But first, what is not different about these and virtually all mass shootings. I am not going to differentiate in the circumstances because in every case these things are always the same:





  • Gun laws currently in effect did not prevent the shooting because (a) the shooter got his weapon illegally, (b) the shooter purchased his weapon legally and successfully negotiated the legal hurdles already in place, and (c) none of the measures now being proposed would have prevented the shooter from obtaining a weapon. In case you’re thinking about raising the minimum age to purchase an “assault weapon” to 21, please see (a) above.
  • “Balls were dropped” left and right that contributed to the shooting happening or made it much worse. For example, so-called “red flags” in the shooter’s social media history were unnoticed, ignored or unreported, or mistakes (incredible, unbelievable mistakes) were made during the immediate response to the shooting. These balls are never addressed by new proposed laws and almost never is anyone held accountable.
  • And always the same is the immediate knee-jerk reaction of the Democrats and other leftists who cannot even wait for the victims’ funerals before politicizing the act with their repeated cries to disarm the law-abiding American public.





What is different this time? Counting on a “Red Tsunami” in November that they did little to earn other than step back and allow the Democratic Party to lurch leftward into woke Socialism, some Republicans now feel that they can betray American gun-owners without fear of repercussions at the ballot box. 





Oh, there is one other thing that is always the same: every infringement on the right to keep and bear arms ever accomplished was enacted with the participation of so-called “supporters of the Second Amendment.”  Please make note of the Republicans who jump on this train. They are traitors to their oath of office and the American people, and should be “primaried” during their next election cycle. Whoever they are.
